After the fire was out and firefighters were picking up their equipment Nashua Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Wholey took a minute to talk with the neighborhood kids about the firefighters job.

At 4:15 pm Nashua Engines 2, 4, 3, Engine 5 as the RIT engine, Ladders 2, 3, C4, C2,R2, and ALS 10 were dispatched to 15 Kennedy Drive for a house fire. Engine 3 arrived on the scene and reported light smoke showing from a 2 story single family home.
Hudson Fire and Litchfield Fire and Police were recognized for their life saving work at a brief ceremony held at the Litchfield Board of Selectmen’s Meeting. The group was recognized for saving a life of a 68-year-old man who went into cardiac arrest.
The Professional Firefighters of Hudson held another successful Muscular Dystrophy Boot Drive at the intersection of Chase and Ferry Streets today. A big thanks goes out to all the motorists who donated to this worthy cause.
