Hi.
We saw some of the bug hotels on this weeks Countryfile. There were numerous ladybirds in our small garden. We had no other materials we used a plastic bottle with corrugated cardboard and it is still there.

I found this article and was very interested. I have a grandfather who was born at Waskerley Park in 1858. I tried to find out a bit more about the area and reservoir but came up blank.

@bbcnewcastle We went for a walk on Hadrians Wall. Grandson had a new mobile. Played with it while we sat down. Realised later it was gone. Retraced steps ringing the phone and found it where we sat down. Happy grandson!
