@fabledfool If you can wait just a couple of months, I've been working on my own version of S3 for the last three years and will start posting this year.
@SAziraCrow14@1941crowley You're not the only one, that sounds like something he would do. Petty as fuck. I also think we would have had the same ending with a 6-episode season either way, because horror is his thing. The finale is so precisely not what we wanted that it feels a bit too much on purpose.
@1941crowley Exactly. And we were promised something we didn't get, purely for shock value and because NG has a god complex. Like, it wasn't that hard to play by the rules of the genre that was presented to us. OF COURSE we were going to watch in the hope of getting exactly THAT.
Adam Young: "Anyway, if you stop tellin' people it's all sorted out after they're dead, they might try sorting it all out while they're alive."
The more I think about it, the more it drives me crazy.

I have been saying! I mean of course I was looking forward to seeing them again and I'm not saying I didn't enjoy some very small parts of the finale, but all things considered, if that was the best these authors could do, then what was even the point?
had go3 never been made and they left it on the go2 cliffhanger, we’d have been mad at the lack of closure ofc but left with endless wonderful possibilities for aziracrow. we’d have lost the conclusion but we wouldn’t have lost THEM. and the fandom would have railed against it with endless art and fic and happy headcanons; it would have thrived through that loss instead of breaking down
