Thomas Burton Kinraide (1864-1927), & his electrical discharge photos. He invented Kinraide coils, a resonant transformer circuit like a Tesla coil, used to provide electricity to X-ray tubes
These photos made me gasp. There is something about reproducing them w/ glass dry plates
@darkbowls Itโs from Ted K. Itโs the idea that the more people absorb greater amounts of moral rules, they canโt think thoughts contrary to those moral rules without feeling guilt or anger, which they channel into their moral crusades. He talks about it specifically in relation to leftists
Interesting fact: GPT-6 Astra is so smart that it understands what you meant when you type with the wrong keyboard layout without tools or caveat.
At the same time, safety checks aren't smart enough to detect it.
Hopefully OpenAI and Anthropic will fix this.
@growing_daniel find it very hard to believe that both OpenAI and Anthropic arenโt state run companies already or atleast bootstrapped and monitored via some In-Q-Tel program
