My heart is heavy. I think of nothing else. Demelza... like a plague you have entered my mind. Try as I might to fight it, I cannot promise.

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

Lost in the furnace

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

I may have escaped my death, a prison and recovered from scurvy.. But I have now been infected by something much more serious... True love.

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

@Tara_317 But my heart already aches, so either way I suffer, love is there to take, not to leave to buffer....?

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

Never have I felt so conflicted inside. Perhaps these are feelings I would do well to hide.. One can only try.

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

My heart swells at the sight of her

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

So good to see my friend again, the bond between men of war is something few can understand.

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

@ChrisjgJessjem An hour or so I believe - though I have never been to his home as of yet

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

It would like to see my friend Dwight again soon. I do hope he's ok, I fear he above anybody else saw the very worst of that dreadful place.

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

I've been vacant as of late. I'm lucky to be alive and home safe but while my body is here in flesh my mind and soul dwell deep in the past.

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

This freedom is disorienting.. Grateful to Ross and his men and so sorry for their loss. I feel lucky to have found these magnificent people

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

I never heard an angel sing until today

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

Freedom

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

How many more will have to die....

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

Infections worsening.. We're sick and desperate. Skin crawling with scurvy.. Joints aching.. Blood boiling.. Must try to save others..

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

I wonder, if a miracle should guide us to escape this evil time - could I even face the sweeter life without needing to take mine.

[Lynne Reid @lynneedward]

@Hugh_Armitage Close your eyes and remember
Forget the anger and the pain
Dream that you're home on a beautiful beach
And back with your loved ones again

[Lesley Snell @BeetleSnell]

@Hugh_Armitage @joshisatree Life will soon be sweeter... for a while. 💖

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

The walls are closing in, the air is claustrophobic... the rage of men is evident more so than I've ever known it

[Hugh Armitage @Hugh_Armitage]

Days turn in to night as nights turn in to day - another day we fight, no option but to stay
