2/2 To be honest it’s probably not all that amazing as it doesn’t fit their narrative. Instead of the facts, they prefer to focus on historic modelling carried out before the referendum by heavily biased organisations. They then repeat such nonsense pretending it’s fact.

1/2 It’s amazing so many remoaners continue to believe the UK has been damaged by leaving the eu despite all the evidence to the contrary. To be clear, the UK economy has grown more strongly than Germany and France, and continues to do so.
#brexit
Can remoaners explain why the UK would be better off in eu when forecasts are UK economic growth will be stronger than France, Germany & Italy.
Either they;
a) love the idea of the eu more than they love the UK
b) are pathological and unable to think in a rational way.
#Brexit
The Russian dictator hurries off stage into a waiting vehicle, after the shortest May 9th parade on record, with no military vehicles, and no world leaders of consequence AFTER begging Zelensky to allow it.
2/2 As correctly stated;
“The eu needs the UK more than the UK needs the eu”
(Jean-Claude Juncker)
It’s entirely possible the remoaners wish to sacrifice UK innovation to support their beloved centre-left eu project.
Not acceptable.
#Brexit
1/2. Amazing that so many remoaners still think Brexit was a mistake.
This is despite the fact that the UK is doing much better than France, Italy, and Germany.
Either they simply can’t handle the truth, or maybe it’s something more sinister.
#Brexit
@LizWebsterSBF It wasn’t “half-hearted leadership”. Jeremy hates the eu and has spent his life campaigning against it. A patriot in the tradition of Tony Benn and Peter Shore. Brexit was the right decision, and the UK is doing much better than France, Italy, and Germany. Wake up!

Lavrov continues speaking about the need to "eliminate root causes of the conflict" - i.e., for Ukraine to capitulate.
According to him, NATO and especially Europe are bad (the Baltics practice Nazism - Lavrov), the United States "give hope." Europe is trying to revive Nazism in Ukraine.
Lavrov's statements clearly show that Russia is not ready for any constructive peace talks.
▪️ "It is good that the Americans have understood the root causes of the conflict must be eliminated. They have clearly stated that there can be no Ukraine in NATO, that the lands where Russians have lived for centuries must once again become Russian, and that the Russian language, culture, and the rights of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church must be restored."
▪️ "A negotiation process is underway. Our position is clear. The root causes of the conflict must be eliminated. These include the threats to Russia created by NATO’s eastward expansion toward our borders and by attempts to draw Ukraine into the alliance, as well as the refusal to discuss our proposals for collective, reciprocal security measures."
▪️ "Another threat is the destruction of everything Russian in territories that for centuries were lands of the Russian people, culture, and history, but ended up within Ukraine due to a historical accident. All of this had been building up for nearly ten years. When we warned everyone that these root causes would 'explode,' no one listened to us. Now these root causes must be removed."
▪️ "Europe resembles an incompetent doctor who refuses to understand what illness you came to him with and instead just gives you some pill or mixture to make you feel slightly better for five minutes. These European 'doctors' do not make a diagnosis."
▪️ "The Americans are trying to figure it out. Recent contacts with them give hope that they have begun to understand our position more deeply - to understand what needs to be done for this conflict to be resolved reliably and sustainably, rather than simply reaching another ceasefire so that Ukraine can once again be pumped full of weapons. The process is therefore ongoing. We are waiting for the Americans’ reaction to how they spoke with the Ukrainians."
▪️"The saddest and most dangerous thing is that in Europe - above all in Brussels, but also in Berlin, London, and Paris, not to mention the Baltics - the theory and practice of Nazism are being revived. Openly Nazi approaches, an open disregard for what the Nazi regime in Ukraine is doing."
▪️ "Hitler, like Napoleon, mobilized almost all of Europe and sent it under Nazi banners against the Soviet Union. Now Europe - and until recently the administration of Joe Biden - is trying to do the same: to unite all European countries, pump Ukraine full of money and weapons, and put a Nazi flag in its hands. And now, under a Nazi flag, with European money, European instructors, European and broader Western intelligence support, and increasingly advanced weapons, Europe is once again waging war against our country using the hands and bodies of Ukrainians."
Q: Wouldn’t the war end tomorrow if Russia left Ukraine?
Russian ambassador to UK Kelin: It will end if Ukrainian forces leave Donbas
Russia is not going to leave Ukraine. We can’t leave Russian-speaking people to a “Nazi regime” that bans language, church and education. 1/
Deal to unlock Russian frozen assets - over £100bn - for Ukraine 'within days'
I’ve been calling for this for months
Europeans must use this negotiating leverage https://t.co/1Yc35TjRjI
'Brexit deals with countries around the world will be more lucrative to Britain’s economy than Sir Keir Starmer’s EU reset plans, new projections show.
The projections, published by the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR), show Sir Keir Starmer’s closer ties with Brussels will reap only tiny dividends. They come after he used speeches last week to blame Brexit for the state of the UK economy.'

@Gerashchenko_en Spot on Zakharova. You are absolutely correct. Your country is a nasty little old-fashioned basket case, and we dislike you intensely.

@Eddystone506 eu, eu, eu…
You live in such a Eurocentric little world.
Consider pivoting away from that view, as there’s an entire world out there.
Ditch your map of the eu, and treat yourself to a globe.
@JohnSimpsonNews So how to explain why UK has done so much better than France & Germany over recent years since the referendum whereas when in the eu they tracked similarly? It is unlikely UK would have massively outpaced them within the eu. Journalism should be based on facts, not conjecture.
@lembitopik Tough. The only problem exists within the weird little mind of putin and a few other Russians. If it was a decent country then it should want to be part of the family of nations. There’s a reason Ukraine and the Baltic nations hate it. It’s not a mystery.
