@SamLStandsUp I just don’t feel you can make the point you were making and use the example of both teams. Bath didn’t go through 45 phases because their more flamboyant attack didn’t work, they did it bc that’s their USP. In the same breath, Saints wld never have done that.

@SamLStandsUp It felt as if you were putting Bath and Saints in the same bucket and I don’t believe that’s true. Certainly the style in the pack couldn’t be further from each other. Think it’s also worth noting that England’s best attack was imo, Arg 2017, when Vesty was attack/skills coach.

Why should people of working age have a lower personal allowance than pensioners? Age related allowances were abolished in the 2012 Budget and - even though it provoked a row about ‘the granny tax’ - we stuck to it. They’re unfair, expensive & create additional tax complexity.

@harlequin1974 @EngRugbyDebate Firstly, it’s Philip, but that’s by the by (at least I’m not hiding behind anonymity). An accusation that his performance was not up the scratch is rewriting history. Simply stating ‘he missed X amount of goal kicks’ simplifies it to an unnecessary extent.
