We are very pleased to announce the wait is finally over and our #runes claim portal is live.
What is the rune ticker your miners have been working so hard to unearth for the past few months you might ask?

Well as some of you might have already guessed(it was hidden in plain sight after all) its a very fitting and memorable one: Send•BTC•To•Zero

Now on to a few caveats related to how the claim portal works:

For operational and technical reasons the minimum claimable amount is 50k runes per miner and rune batches will be disbursed in 50k increments.

This means that for any amount that is not a perfect multiple of 50k the amount gets rounded up to the nearest 50k-multiple figure (ie if you have a miner with a 153000 runes allowance you will be able to claim 200000).
Think of it as a small token of gratitude and appreciation for your patience and for bearing with us as we finalized things over this past month since Runes went live.

The claim process is per miner so that it gives you ample flexibility in how many runes you want to immediately take possession of and how many boney/burials pairs you want to free up for trading etc without forfeiting their rune haul accrued so far.

As a last reminder initiating the claim process will irreversibly BURN the underlying miner(but obviously and crucially NOT the Boney and Burial powering it, they will remain in your possession).
Of course you are then free to use your newly jobless boneys and burials to re inscribe miners and start mining anew while having your supply of runes mined so far secured under your control and ready to be traded.
As a reminder mining is live until block 890000.

Finally we want to dedicate a few words as to what exactly these runes are, or rather aren't. Send•BTC•To•Zero is not merely a meme rune devoid of any utility or use case. Quite the contrary as we envision it playing a crucial part in our expanded ecosystem and specifically the soon to be BitBay https://t.co/n9vV8bHndl exchange where they will play a central role offering access to exclusive perks and favorable trading conditions.
