@Chris_Cooper_23@koshercockney@dsisme48 No, we got the “Vote Liberal Democrat to get the Tories out” candidate! But no-one could know quite what he’d be like!
We’re overhauling the planning system, to achieve our mission of delivering 1.5 million homes.
Our Plan for Change will put builders, not blockers, first and help deliver the biggest boost in social and affordable housebuilding in a generation.
GREAT NEWS!!!! The bonkers LibDem plan to have a Low Traffic Network for St.James' and St.Johns in #TunbridgeWells has been dropped following an onslaught of ridicule. Including from the residents of the areas. It would have forced all the traffic onto already gridlocked roads.
@ThreshedThought I asked at Full Council last night if Cllr Wormington could clarify with Mike Martin the truth, which he acknowledged, that this tree and others are NOT anything to do with the LibDem Council! He declined to do so, so I am (again)!
@mattforde just seen Matt’s incredible evening in Tunbridge Wells - we haven’t laughed as much in ages!! Thanks, Matt, it’s good to have you back; btw it’s the European Convention not the European Court in ECHR! You called it the latter throughout!
@bbclaurak ask the Tory apologist his response to this Reeve’s quote; “If they oppose our new fiscal rules next week, they will basically be saying they support the current path of decline. We are happy to have that debate. We are on the right side of it.”
@bbclaurak Your bias is becoming more transparent every week, Laura! Just the little adjectives that get dropped into your monologues and questions; watch back and you’ll spot them, too!
@RestIsPolitics is this “first 100 days” a new perspective; I cannot recall any Govt being held to account for delivery so early on! What did Wilson or Thatcher or even Major ‘achieve’ in their first 100 days and was it raked over in the same way at the time?
@disgustedoftwe1@Rusthallred@alanbullion2 As a centrist Labour member and Chartered Business Psychologist specialising in corporate leadership for 30 years, I can assure you, I will be! I would also recommend Bad Leadership by Barbara Kellerman; a bit old now but still contains valuable lessons.
@paulroberts_Pem@TWellsCouncil This was a decision and negotiation undertaken by the previous collation administration. It’ll be interesting to see if the LibDems (or even our new MP) claim all the credit!!
