Safety feedback @Tesla @Tesla_AI — FSD and hydroplaning: Drove Fredericton → Quebec City today in heavy rain. FSD was driving precisely through water-filled ruts in the center of the lane, causing repeated hydroplaning and loss of traction. I had to take manual control. 🧵 1/2

Just wrapped a 10-day, Montreal → Nova Scotia road trip on the Cabot Trail, almost entirely on FSD in our Model 3. Genuinely impressed — smooth highway driving, confident on curves & elevation changes. Huge congrats @Tesla FSD team & thanks @elonmusk for the vision! 🚗⚡️ (1/5)

(4/5) On badly damaged roads (potholes, broken pavement), it didn’t always detect/avoid hazards — had to disengage a few times to steer around manually. Also a few odd nav moments: needing a simple left turn, it sometimes turned right + U-turned ~1km later.

(3/5) A few attempts to park in accessible/handicap spots, or in loading zones in front of garages meant for waiting, not parking.

Some constructive feedback from 10 days of real-world use (2/5):

🅿️ Parking lot indecision — in lots without clear markings (or sometimes even with them), FSD would circle multiple times before picking a spot, even with plenty open. Circled one gas station 3-4x in a row 😅
