As many of you know I am undergoing chemo but I have not shared my story.

I rang in the New Year with a cancer diagnosis. What started with some pain in my chest turned into me sitting in emergency and a doctor saying “we found a tumor, it’s sitting on your heart and you need to see an oncologist right away.”

I remember barely being able to comprehend what was being said and felt myself start to panic. The room began to spin and I started to feel myself spiraling down into a bad reality.

Nothing can ever prepare you for those words and for what would come next. The waiting. Waiting for doctors appointments, waiting for test results, waiting for biopsy results, waiting for a diagnosis.

Although I have spent 2024 battling this disease something happened. Suddenly, the little things didn’t matter anymore. My outlook on things were clearer and I appreciated and cherished every moment so much more.

During my chemo sessions, surrounded by others in similar fights, I began feeling an overwhelming urge to do more.

I decided to get involved in a charity called Light the Night. This organization, part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), has been instrumental in funding critical research and providing assistance to those battling cancer.

As I learned more about Blast, an idea came to mind. Why not launch a collection and use the yield to support LLS, the same organization that hosts Light the Night.

With this in mind, I reached out to a crucial member of the Pacmoon community, @ZoraWeb3 , who not only supported my idea and created the beautiful art for this project, but also ncluded @icobeast and @JerryJonesIlI . I couldn’t have done this without all of their support and guidance and for that I am most grateful.

The combination of personal experience and community collaboration inspired me to create a refundable charity drop, blending my passion for crypto with a commitment to supporting cancer research. I hope this initiative will not only raise funds for a crucial cause but also shows the incredible potential of Blast.

SUPER BRIEF breakdown by @remintreality of the @fantasy_top_ gameplay that we are seeing in the first few hours of the Main Tournament.

TLDR:

- Don't get discouraged if you are getting annihilated by folks dropping 30e on a deck including legendary @jenndefer and @CirrusNFT cards. @TravisBickle0x and team are based af, they will iterate on concurrent tournaments (deeper video on this when I get back home) and have fairer gameplay and incentives for other tournaments. Stay tuned!

- THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES if you find a niche that you believe in!!!! Common cards are undervalued af IMO and there are deals to be had. While people dump commons (like fucking @boldleonidas at .13e), buy the blood. People don't know what they are holding.

- Incentives for heroes haven't even been distributed and the gamification is just starting. Is Fantasy exciting? Yes. Have we seen the wealth generation and dynamic and complexity of the gameplay truly play out yet? Not even close. Get pitted in a niche and there are plays to be had, I promise.
