MTN Nigeria CEO Karl Toriola told Nigerians that unlimited data does not exist anywhere in the world unless you are paying a fortune.

Nigerians abroad immediately responded with screenshots of their unlimited plans costing the equivalent of three hours of minimum wage work in the UK.

Karl said nowhere in the world. Nigerians pulled out receipts from the world.

Let us be factual.

India. Jio offers unlimited data, calls, and SMS for the equivalent of N3,500 a month.

UK. Three UK and O2 have unlimited plans a British minimum wage worker clears in under two hours.

USA. T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon all sell unlimited plans. Widely available, Heavily advertised.

Several African markets including South Africa offer near-unlimited plans at more affordable income-relative prices than Nigeria.

What Karl actually meant to say is this.

Unlimited data does not exist anywhere MTN operates at the prices MTN is willing to charge while maintaining the profit margins required to keep shareholders comfortable.

That is the honest sentence. It is just not one a CEO can say in public.

So he said nowhere in the world instead and hoped Nigerians were too poor and too disconnected to fact-check him.

So that’s how MTN reassigned my MTN line to a new user, thus giving them access to my bank account and enabling transfers of 100k within a day.

I can only imagine how much more I could have lost if I hadn’t logged into my mobile app yesterday to make a transfer.

So according to massco E, he went to settle a different case at zone B Police station Inyi then at his arrival, he saw this lady at the counter carrying a baby with her eyes red shading tears . He felt for her more as she was carrying this child in her arms then he asked her what happened.

"They arrrested me" she said.

Reason as she explained:
She designed and printed printed a business banner for a customer whom I may reveal details if things do not go the way it should.

They agreed the customer will pay N18,000 which he deposited N17k.

When he came to collect the job done which he complained of late delivery, he only met the woman's son at the shop. The son asked for the balance of 1k as instructed by his mother.
The customer became anggrrry and tretend to arrrest her when he comes back.

The next thing she saw while she was at her shop is Police officer who came to pick her up and taken to the Station.

According to her, the customer was there at the station and says that all he wanted was his money back, that he didn't want the work again.
The police said she will bail herself with N30K and pay the man his 17k.

He personally called the woman's customer thrice because he know him but he ignored his calls and never called back.

These are the reasons why I say that an average Nigerian is worse than the leaders they criticize everyday

In January my Mum was diagnosed of cancer, in secs I saw my life falling apart. Hospital gave us bill of 9Million -11milion naira. To cover for 6cycles of chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and surgery. I could only cry cause where are we going to get such amount of money.
I came on here last month to seek help and the people that donated 241k came out. God bless you all for me🙏
So far we have spent 5million naira and we are left with about 7 Million naira. I’m already exhausted;financially and all ways.
The hospital asked me to come get letter so we can return to our state, cause no money for her to continue.
I don’t know where else to turn to, I’m back again begging and crying 😭
Please help my mum survive Cancer.
