Look:
There is no such thing as overdiagnosis.
There is just diagnosis (correct) or misdiagnosis (wrong).
If a diagnosis is correct, then you can't have too much of it.
Just 3 days left. HELP US PROTEST NHS ENGLAND’S PLANNED CHANGES FOR RIGHT TO CHOOSE.
Register your objection in their consultation - 30 second form
NHS England recently put in place Indicative Activity Plans, which are now being used to restrict Right to Choose in multiple areas.
Not satisfied with that they are now trying to replace all local Right to Choose contracts with their own contract. A contract that is not fit for purpose.
We have been told by multiple providers that they consider the plans to be impossible and some argue unsafe. It is our clear opinion that NHS England is rushing these changes through to save money and exclude people with ADHD from getting their healthcare they are finally getting. #adhd #adhduk #nhsrighttochoose
Consultation Ends on December 16th. So we only have a short time.

It must be stressed that NHS England has already received major reports *this year* on the prevalence & diagnosis of MH issues, ASD & ADHD.
And the Govt already has data to show that autism & ADHD are *under*diagnosed.
Are they just trying to get a different answer..?

@MichelleBeckett There was an independent review of ADHD services published just weeks ago https://t.co/NxThU27lRo which concluded that it’s under diagnosed and that services are inadequate
My full support to my Labour colleagues who have been suspended over opposition to disability cuts.
Alongside nearly 50 of us, they were simply standing up for their disabled constituents and following their consciences.
Challenging policies that harm our communities, that damage Labour's support and that make a Reform government much more likely is a key role of Labour backbenchers. The Prime Minister should be listening to these voices, not punishing them.
After the suspension of myself and others last year for opposing the two-child benefit cap, I had hoped the leadership would take a different approach to backbenchers. Sadly, it isn’t yet doing so. To help stop a Reform Government, it really must do so.
I think we have the measure of Keir Starmer now: a cruel, vindictive man who goes after disabled people and then tries to reassert his authority by punishing the MPs who voted against his cruel cuts.
Ever regret voting Labour?
So Keir Starmer's strategy on welfare has essentially been to:
1) Fail to engage with Labour MPs before launching the policy
2) Ignore all warnings about a rebellion
3) U-Turn at the very last minute after the damage is done
4) Promise a new approach
5) Suspend the MPs anyway
An excellent article by @DrFrancesRyan explaining that we SHOULDN'T have to justify our right to eat, drink or go to the toilet. And the right to a full and varied life, based on an income that covers our NEEDS, and we need Social Care that works properly. https://t.co/LhoiXHSoi1
Neil Duncan-Jordan, MP for Poole suspended this afternoon from Labour, says: “Since being elected I have consistently spoken up for my constituents on a range of issues, including most recently on cuts to disability benefits. I understood this could come at a cost, but I couldn’t support making disabled people poorer.
Although I’ve been suspended from the Parliamentary Labour Party today, I’ve been part of the Labour and trade union movement for 40 years and remain as committed as ever to its values.
To my constituents: it’s business as usual. I remain your hardworking local MP, I will continue to take up your concerns and speak up for Poole.”
Another petty counterproductive move from Starmer. Punishing MPs who stood against a widely unpopular policy won’t endear him to the public or improve discipline in the party. It just makes him look like he hasn’t learnt a thing from the disability cuts. Because he hasn’t.
SEVERE CONDITION CRITERIA
The Green Paper is diminished, but please lobby against the ‘severe condition criteria’—a hugely dangerous and discriminatory change to UC health rules that would drastically increase new claimants’ financial and psychological precarity.

The #ADHD Taskforce today publishes Part 1 of its report. "ADHD, when unsupported, is a potent route into .. failure" "Economic costs .. of at least £17 billion are avoidable as, when appropriately supported, people with ADHD can thrive". Full report: https://t.co/ssWUPBz2RB
