This is the best way for you to protect your family in these facilities. All family members have to share this responsibility. Look for bruises and scratches. Make them tell you in detail what happened and demand to see the video. There are cameras all over the facility. If they refuse, get law enforcement involved to properly investigate it.
Also, never admit your family into a history or a facility like this with valuables on them. There is a strong likelihood they will get stolen. This includes religious necklaces, watches, bracelets and rings. You can bring them their valued belongings when you visit but you can’t leave them there.

This woman filmed herself abusing a dog locked inside a cage — shocking the dog with a shock collar reportedly set to 99, the highest setting, while also striking/prodding the animal with a broomstick.

Well, there’s an update: she’s now been ARRESTED.

Waterbury, Connecticut police charged 22-year-old Marilyn Valdes with felony malicious and intentional cruelty to animals after the disturbing footage surfaced online and was reported to authorities.
