Best thing I ever did. It is so important for young people to have the opportunity to study & live abroad. Common sense prevails. Spent 1 year in Madrid studying business & Spanish (business part in Spanish, no less) & made some real friends for life from all over the world.
Britain is rejoining Erasmus+.
From 2027, thousands of students, apprentices and young people will be able to study and work across Europe, gaining international experience and new skills.
Run by the @BritishCouncil, the programme will unlock a range of opportunities for people from different backgrounds across the UK.
The sensationalist language used in this video is unbelievable. 'Aprehended a Southampton 'spy'' - 'Packed up his 'equipment' and hot-footed 150 yards' - 'fled through these doors to a changing facility, a toilet' - 'fled and made his escape'. Laughable journalism. #SaintsFC
Keith Downie visits Middlesbrough’s training ground and stands in the exact spot where it’s alleged a member of Southampton’s staff was “spying” on their session ahead of the Championship play-off semi-final.
@AlfieHouseEcho Time for the tough questions. What is Tonda's plan? Because whatever this is, it's utterly crap. Before they scored, it was so obvious there was no midfield, so why didn't he change it? What are they doing on the training pitch? Because the cohesion of passing is shocking as well
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Attacking players completely anonymous in the second half. 3 centre halves and not one of them capable of defending. Bad day at the office. #SaintsFC
Is there seriously anybody that would welcome Russell Martin and his sideways/backwards passing back at the club? With the same group of players that committed the most errors leading to a goal in PL history? Oh, but the possession padding was great... 🫠 #SaintsFC
For as long as our defenders keep making these mistakes, it doesn't help our confidence-devoid attackers that we need to score at least 2 goals a game, just to get something out of it... #SaintsFC
These dull performances are totally on the players. No bravery. No urgency. Russell Martin-ball is a long-lasting disease. Want Downs to come good, but might as well be playing with 10 men at this point. Azaz and Fellows not rejuvenating the attack either. #SaintsFC
Leo Scienza on joining #SaintsFC:
“I’ve been through a lot, I played in a very low league, I had living conditions that were not very optimal – I slept in a bed on the floor, I didn’t have a [big] salary, but these are all things that brought me to this point, not just as a player but also as a person and as a man, to grow a lot.
“I played in basically every league, from the lowest to the highest, and in the end I was very, very thankful that I could play in the Bundesliga with Heidenheim. It was a hell of a journey, and now I am here. It is the biggest step for my career, for my life, and I’m very excited.”
@CarlSteadman Wish he'd have a pop more often though. Sometimes gets into great positions and tries to overplay it or bottles shooting. Not convinced by him and Downes in the same team tho...
