Android often needs more RAM to support a huge variety of devices and custom software layers. Apple designs the chip, OS, and hardware together, so iPhones can deliver similar or better performance with less RAM.

iPhones feel faster with less RAM for the same reason a well-organized desk is more productive than a bigger messy one. Tight hardware-software integration beats brute-force specs most of the time.

Every time you recall a memory, you reconstruct it and in the process, you can subtly change it before storing it again.
