Here’s a solution @IpsoNews - when crimes are committed by trans women, journalists could use the term “trans woman” to describe them. This would mean their biological sex AND gender identity are clear, and it avoids ‘misgendering’, so trans rights activists can’t complain.

In fairness to Metro, at least they have reported on this story. Other media outlets actively avoid reporting on sexual offences committed by trans women because they are afraid of the backlash.
