This doctor did more for diabetes other than insulin itself. He deserves the Nobel Prize for his work and advancing the management of diabetes especially T1. His trailblazing work undoubtedly saved lives and people from getting horrible complications. RIP Dr. B. 😭

Eggs are one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can add to your breakfast plate. Not only are they an affordable source of protein, but they’re rich in many nutrients including choline and vitamin D.
Pairing eggs with just 100 gm Avocado in breakfast will give you some more minerals like potassium, vitamin C and vitamin E and mono unsaturated fats.
When the state of NC told me to add a disclaimer on my website ... well, I just had to poke the bear.
This is what I added to the bottom of every page. 👀😎😅 Warrior on! #DiabetesWarrior
I asked @Grok to clean it up, make it professional.
Natural light is critical for health, circulation and fertility, yet all we hear is how bad the sun is.
Did you know: -Farm animals need it -Glass and glasses block it -Artificial light causes ADHD, depression, flus and cancer

My doctor scheduled seven surgeries. I cancelled every one. That was 2007. I'm 72 now and stronger than I was at 55. The thing that saved me wasn't a discovery or a protocol. It was so simple no one could bill for it. That's why your surgeon will never mention it.
Reminds me of diabetic studies showing 'whole grains' are diabetic friendly because they have a slightly lower glycemic load than refined flour.
Just because a 'food' has a lower glycemic response than sugar, doesn't make it #DiabeticFriendly#CapturedScience
The Monday I stopped starting over was the Monday everything changed. I'd spent 20 years on fresh starts. New diet. New plan. New promise. Gained weight every single year. Then I quit chasing answers and just ate real food. 19 years later. 98 pounds gone. Zero pills.
When people say they don't like meat ... they almost always over-cook it. Overcooking meat causes it to dry out and can toughen it.
I stopped over-cooking my meat decades ago. My favorite way to cook lean cuts is TRULY slow roasting, at 170F... because it greatly reduces moisture loss. (link in first comment)
Note: Obviously "wet heat" like a crock pot, or smoking meat will soften it up... if cooked long enough, and at high enough temps. That's a different animal.

Every time you eat sugar and refined carbs, your body releases insulin to clear it out of your blood. Do that often enough, for long enough, and your cells slowly stop responding properly. So your body does the only thing it can, it pumps out more and more insulin to force the job done. And because all that extra insulin is still just about holding your blood sugar down, your glucose test keeps coming back "normal." You get told you are fine. Meanwhile the real problem is quietly building underneath, completely invisible on a standard test.
Then one day the system can no longer keep up, your glucose finally starts to rise, and suddenly you are handed a prediabetes or type 2 diagnosis "out of nowhere." Except it was never out of nowhere. It had been brewing for ten years.
Dr. Zelenko back on December 5th, 2021: According to peer reviewed studies zinc taken together with zinc Ionophores like Quercetin, EGCG or Hydroxychloroquine inhibit influenza virus and covid-19.
Perhaps no more flu shot?

Thank you @ValerieAnne1970 for this clear post and for highlighting the work of Nina Teicholz @bigfatsurprise 🌹
To complement your argument, Nina’s best presentation on @dietdoctor is Podcast #21, where she explains with data how the dietary guidelines were based on weak evidence and why a low-carb diet can reverse type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular risk, and improve mental health so quickly.
Special recognition to Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt @dre for his enormous effort and dedication in researching and sharing these topics with rigor for years.
