When Ajmal arrived in Germany from Afghanistan, everything felt unfamiliar. He learned German and joined Joblinge, a program that helps young refugees start their careers. Today, Ajmal is training as an electronics technician.

Every journey tells a story, and ours in Chaco was one of connection. Fourteen volunteers travelled to Argentina to support our partner Haciendo Camino. The heart of the trip was found beyond the planned activities: sewing with mothers, visiting families at home and sharing meals

Reaching more communities in Serbia! With our new partner, the Center for Interactive Pedagogy, The Human Safety Net’s network in Serbia reaches 34 locations, giving more families the chance to grow stronger from the very beginning.

We all know how crucial the first 1,000 days of life are. New research published by “The Lancet” shows that the next 1,000 matter just as much. Parents' support strengthens child’s development, improve school performance and reduce long-term risks.

8 years of supporting families and refugees strengthening communities across the world, unlocking the potential of people living in vulnerable circumstances. Nothing would have been possible without all the people who believed, took action, and made this movement real.

Our partner @fundacionbalia is working with families in vulnerable contexts. Together we run programmes that strengthen parenting skills and provide educational opportunities for children. By the end of 2024 we had reached 1,793 parents and children.

On 4 Sept at Procuratie Vecchie we hosted After Migration: Dreams in Transit, a conference with migrants, researchers, operators & artists on the future after migration and the social impact of art, incl. the Dreams in Transit panel & the short film Sweet Refuge.

We’re delighted to present For Our Children Foundation, our partner in Bulgaria! Together, we support children and parents with a clear goal: ensuring access to early learning, promoting quality time within families, and creating safe environments for children to grow up in.

At this year’s Asian top performing agents conference, in Da Nang, Vietnam, Generali promoted the new role of Engaged Agent for The Human Safety Net, who are actors in their communities supporting programme activities and engaging their customers to contribute to THSN movement.
