#fridayflicks This week my survival movie recommendation is Alive. A famous story based on true events about a Soccer team crash landing in the Andies Mountains in Chile. There fight for survival and what they had to endure mentally and physically to survive is a testament to the human spirit of endurance and morality. They did some questionable things in order to survive but from all those who survived they have since had over 200 children and grandchildren who wouldn't be here if they had died. 10/10 this is a must watch. #alive

“I Can’t Afford To Prep For Emergencies”
This is a complaint that I've been getting alot for the past year or so.
I think that the vast majority of people can start prepping if they do it slowly over time.
So for example when you go grocery shopping on sunday, if you have an extra $5, buy a case of water bottles and 2 cans of food.
Next week buy $10 worth of rice
The week after that, buy a first aid kit for $15
Then a flashlight for $10
Keep buying something every week.
Anything that costs a bit more money like a generator, a gas mask or a survival kit you may have to save up for.
Don't waste your money on useless stuff, this time, hold off on the nars concealer or dior foundation.
Put that money into prepping supplies.
Most of the stuff I tell you guys to buy is inexpensive and can be purchased on any budget.
A pack of 100 tealight candles is $7 at walmart
A jar of instant coffee is $8
A pack of salt or sugar can be bought for $3
A water filter straw can be bought for $20
A can of tuna or sardines is around $1
You just have to look at your weekly budget, make a plan and buy something whenever you can.

Why aren’t schools teaching essential survival skills?
-Reading the sun’s position to tell time or direction
-Navigating with a compass
-Planting and growing seeds
-Constructing garden boxes
-Testing soil quality at home
-Composting to reduce waste and enrich soil
-Creating natural fertilizers
-Preserving seeds for future planting
-Learning techniques for preserving food
It’s time we equip our children with practical, life-sustaining knowledge!
@PrepGearX Sanitation is always overlooked.
People forget that toilet paper, bleach, running water etc all rely on the logistic chains remaining in tact, which they won't
