Despite advancements in diagnostic tools and free TB treatment, the social and economic consequences of the disease remain severe. Investing in people, dignity, and resilient communities saves lives, strengthens economies, and unlocks human potential.
Over the past two years 15,936 people registered on OneImpact.
3,705 people reported 5,540 barriers to TB care and social challenges.
Through collaboration between communities, health providers, and partners, 74.6% of these barriers were resolved.
As we observe World TB Day, it’s clear that ending TB starts with the people. When people affected by TB are recognised, not only as recipients of care but as partners in the response, barriers fall, trust in health services grows, and treatment outcomes improve. #TBDay
