Protecting our learners, one test at a time! On June 1st, the CA MVC Giyani team visited Tshovani Primary School for malaria testing due to recent passive cases. We tested 180 learners on the spot (91 male and 89 female) and provided immediate treatment for any positive cases.

1/2On April 22, CA uMkhanyakude partnered with the Malaria Control Program and Border Management Authorities to commemorate World Malaria Day. The initiative aimed to raise awareness of malaria among travelers crossing the Khosi Bay border between SA and neighboring countries.

Together with the Department of Health and local stakeholders, Child Aid Ehlanzeni took a stand against malaria on April 24th at Ka Mhlushwa community hall!
Our team provided "Test and Treat" services, testing 57 people with 0 positive cases and distributing 200 IEC materials.

On 9 April, CA Doornkop and HOPE COJ joined the Civil Society Forum at Orlando East Hall for a vital TB community engagement program. Our team conducted 20 HIV tests and provided 16 PrEP referrals along with 5 clinical referrals to ensure the community has access to ongoing care.
