Change With One Meal has served between 20 to 30 lakh meals across Delhi.
What began in 2020 as a small community kitchen started by Kiran and his wife during the Delhi
protests and Covid lockdown has today become a space built around dignity.
Meals cost just ₹10 so nobody feels ashamed while eating there.
Today, the kitchen serves 700–800 people every day, over 1,200 on weekends, while also creating opportunities for people rebuilding their own lives.

A mentally challenged man attended a wedding ceremony uninvited in Assam.
He quietly joined the guests for food, and nobody questioned him.
Before leaving, he took out ₹10 from his torn pocket and placed it in the bride’s hand as shagun 🥹❤️

She donated 90 packets of breast milk, and in doing so, quietly strengthened a lifeline for babies she will never meet.
Singer and mother Jankee Parekh shared a deeply personal part of her postpartum journey: since her daughter Rumi was born, she has been pumping every day for 9 months—half-asleep, exhausted, in between feeds and recovery.
What began as a private effort became something far larger: donating the stored excess to a human milk bank, where every packet turns into critical support for newborns in NICUs who depend on donor human milk when mothers cannot lactate due to medical complications, premature birth, or health challenges.
Across India, human milk banks play a vital role for preterm and low-birth-weight babies, reducing infection risk, strengthening immunity, and improving survival outcomes in their most fragile days.
Yet access remains uneven, with coverage still limited across many regions, making every donation significant in a very real, measurable way.
Her contribution also reflects a wider gap in the system: while milk banks and Lactation Management Centres are growing, they remain concentrated in select hospitals, leaving the need for broader access across district and rural healthcare.
Human milk also isn’t just “available”—it must be safely collected, screened, pasteurised, and distributed through regulated networks. Without that structure at scale, donations cannot reliably reach every baby who needs them.
That’s why each donation matters.

In the scorching deserts of Bikaner, Rajasthan, where the summer sun shows no mercy, even finding a sip of water can become a struggle for survival.
Amid the blazing heat and endless sands, a few compassionate people are filling traditional cement water troughs with water and placing food in mud bowls for thirsty birds and animals.
For countless living beings battling the harsh desert heat, these small acts become the difference between suffering and survival.

When the sun feels like it is pressing down on every road, kindness quietly rises to meet it.
In the scorching heat of Chaksu, Jaipur, a group of local volunteers, including youths and dadis, at bus stations with one simple mission: offering cold water to exhausted passengers.
For travellers stepping off crowded buses, that first sip is not just relief; it feels like care, respect, and humanity in action.
In a season where temperatures test patience, these small acts remind us that humanity still knows how to show up.
