🚨🎙️John Terry on Noni Madueke missing a big chance against Costa Rica:
“Thomas Tuchel, you chose Noni Madueke over Cole Palmer for the World Cup squad. Palmer – one of the most creative, decisive players in the Premier League – left out.”
“And what do we get instead? Against Costa Rica, Madueke had an open goal, rounded the keeper, and somehow hit the post. A chance that should have been buried. That moment summed it up.”
“You don’t drop proven match-winners for potential that doesn’t deliver when it matters. Cole Palmer creates and scores at the highest level. This decision will cost England”
For me, not making Europe is a blessing. These players have been overloaded for three years without a break, and this is a World Cup year.
Next season, they will have extended days off and recovery periods between games to reset.
Having key players missing the World Cup and having one game a week will give Alonso the best of both worlds: fresh players and time on the training pitch.
We will have no excuse not to finish in the top two or three in the league and make deep runs in the Cup. Next season is like Conte's first season—a reset and a recharge. We really need it.
Not having Europe will be great for Alonso to implement his football in the shortest possible time. With Europe, it could take until December to bed in, and by January, fatigue will set in, as we saw in Maresca's first season.
For me, I want the best Premier League season we can have next season, with no complicated excuses for a bad run. And I believe we will have that.
🚨John Terry on Chelsea’s Current Situation*
On the boardroom, Tuchel, Maresca, Rosenior, McFarlane, and Xabi Alonso:
“I’m sorry, but what’s happening at Chelsea FC right now is self-inflicted chaos, and it starts from the boardroom, not the dugout.
You had Thomas Tuchel — a guy who literally brought you back to the top, gave you identity, gave you belief. What did you do? You removed him. Not because he failed, but because there was no patience. Since then, it’s been the same story with different names.
Then you bring in Enzo Maresca, a manager building something with a clear project and structure. He delivers silverware — the Conference League and Club World Cup — and instead of backing him when things get tough, you pull the plug again. That’s not football management, that’s panic.
And then you bring in Liam Rosenior. No disrespect to him, but you’re asking someone with limited top-level experience, coming from Ligue 1, to suddenly fix structural issues that have been there for years. There’s no stability behind the scenes. You can’t build anything like that. That’s not how football works.
Five consecutive league losses. No goals. First time in over a century. That’s not just ‘bad form’ — that’s a reflection of confusion, lack of direction, and poor leadership from above.
People will blame the players, and yes, they’ve been poor. But when a club keeps ripping up projects every 12–18 months, what do you expect? You don’t build winners like that. You just create confusion.
And now I’m hearing talk like ‘trust the process’ again… what process? There is no process. It’s just decision after decision with no direction.
Chelsea aren’t just struggling, they’ve lost their identity. And until the people at the top take responsibility, it won’t matter who’s on the touchline — the same story will keep repeating.
Chelsea didn’t qualify for European football next season after losing to Sunderland. This isn’t the Chelsea I used to play for.
I pray and hope they back Xabi Alonso next season so that Chelsea can be restored to where they used to be.”
@EmmanuelAfula Sir, my main problem is gas fees to claim our mined tokens, kindly note that most of us are not okay financially, watching ads when mining and at the end of the day not being able to claim it due to gas fee it's heartbreaking, personally it's discouraging, please look into it.
@CeliaWallet I have been unable to complete my mainnet verification for a few days now. After when my images have been taken, then it proceeded to 'analyzing data' for hours without going no where at the end. please help on this situation as I would kindly appreciate. @favourafula
