Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.
A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.
Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.
@bennyjohnson "Peace through strength" is the idea that you can be so overtly and overwhelmingly powerful that people are intimidated into submission. However people too ignorant to recognize they face certain doom, or are simply willing to die, they are immune to intimidation.
@bennyjohnson Hey, I am happy with what we are doing to Iran and I suspect it will be a net positive for peace globally, but um...it ain't exactly the "quintessential definition of peace". Not sure if what we're doing to Iran can be called war, or an invasion, but it ain't called peace.
Why is a non-talking filibuster allowed to happen? This makes it impossible to pass laws. It cannot be constitutionally valid, given that it runs so contrary to the will of the people!
The point of the filibuster was simply to allow senators to make their argument before legislation was passed. It is NOT there to require 60 votes to pass anything at all.
@MatrixMysteries The "extra" is the rent that you pay to borrow $112k for 7 years.
You can't afford that truck.
DUM-ASS!
Who should be forced to loan you money for free?
Enough nukes could break the planet. The means to do it currently exists and with all the war and international tension motive is too close for comfort.
In second place is volcanic eruptions.
Rocks from space, global warming, aliens, and magnetic polar reversal, etc, are all theoretical, speculative, or just unlikely.
@ericmmatheny Its existence will effect everything and everyone whether you use it or not.
It will make homes more "affordable". If a buyer can afford more, sellers will expect more. It will obviously, quickly and dramatically inflat the cost of homes.
