Anyone who is worried about their A level results + future, I’m in my mid 20s, quit college multiple times + thought I would never go to university.
Three years ago I begun distanced learning after finally figuring out what I wanna do at university.
There’s no wrong path.
Still no answer from @cardiffuni admissions teams as to the status of my offer, despite absolutely missing the a level grades that they want from me. I’ve called four times and no information. This is genuinely cruel to wait around to just put off the inevitable #resultsday2022
@cardiffuni Guys I didn’t get the grades I need to go onto your course I have an offer for, and want you to reject me already so I can go into clearing. Please can you check your emails and make a decision x
To the 17/18/19 yos doing a levels /btec and worried about your future after results day, read this thread I made a few days ago. You’re gonna be okay and I am proud of you for making it this far. Whatever path you decide, you’re gonna make it I promise . Hugs x #resultsday2022

@amx1ia But what if you did really well? And you’re underestimating your abilities, and have a nice shock, instead of bad shock? Whatever happens on a level results day, you have options. I failed college three times and am now on the fourth try heading to uni. I promise you’ll be okay.
Students over the past two years have faced a huge level of disruption. It’s fair to say that it’s not been easy, for anyone. But your a level grades do not determine your future, and your value as a human being is not under question either. You matter. Period. #resultsday2022
If anything I have learned a tremendous amount about myself through this process and I’m so glad that I took the time out to prioritise my mental health.
There is no shame in choosing your sanity and using a year out (or more) to try new things. Go at your own pace. #alevels
@ATZ00M Please don’t do that. I’m also scared about my a level results. Please remember that your value as a human being is not determined by your grades. And this is coming from someone who quit college many times and has in their mid 20s applied for uni. You’re gonna be okay. *Hugs* x
@maelhmatthews@PeterStefanovi2@ofqual Let’s not forget that this A-level cohort didn’t sit their GCSEs so this June’s A-level exams were the first external exams they had taken since…SATs? Their levels of anxiety were (and are) so high - our poor kids 😢🤞
OFS saying students should prepare for disappointment. It is clear that “system” has failed young people. This is not students’ fault. People should not accept it when it happens on Thurs. Pls RT. #alevels2022 @ofqual https://t.co/Gewzrn8xCU
