At the beginning of the school year, teachers have to attend Professional Development (PD) sessions. With the rise in gun deaths and regular shootings, some of these PD’s inevitably cover this topic, usually led by an officer. /1

No one cut him off, questioned him, or pushed back on this at all. And I think it’s because we’re all scared. But it’s batshit crazy that cops can now just give a Rambo speech about how they think an active shooter situation is going to go after the Robb Elementary situation
