Check out this article to see how the South Atlanta Cluster is changing the way we do STE(A)M! Together, we can go so much further🤜🏾🤛🏾! #STEM https://t.co/2Rj3IezNf9
It's always a great day when @ScienceATL has their Science Pros come visit. Students were exposed to how rockets work and how to stay safe online. Thanks to Ms. Jones and Mr. Johnson! #STEM#Engineering#Technology
I'd like to send a big thank you to the @CNCNature for visiting @APSHumphriesES. The experience was informative and interactive for our students in grades K-2. Well done! 👏🏾👏🏾
We followed Family #STEM night with a field trip to #SteamFest, where students learned about careers in STEM, programmed drones, coded and more! Thanks to the #SouthAtlanta STEM specialists for making this happen for our students ✨
What a week of STEM! On Tuesday families participated in Family STEM night and it was amazing to see the students sharing all they’ve learned thus far. 🚜👷🏾
This field experience was one that could not be missed. The #STEM information shared was engaging and fun to learn, for students and adults. The students are going to talk about this for the rest of the year! #iFly#Science#Engineering
Our Family STEM Night is quickly approaching! We are hard at work constructing a hands-on experience that shows exactly how we're building a culture of #STEM every day.
Mark your calendars:
📅 Date: March 31, 2026
🕓 Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
📍 Location: Humphries Elementary
Recently, the South Atlanta Cluster's STEM coaches hosted our Partnership breakfast. Collaborating helps us see the STEM pipeline flow from elementary to high school. This is a phenomenal team and we’re not done yet! #STEM#SouthAtlanta#Partnerships
✨What a beautiful night celebrating our rich Black culture! From amazing musical and step performances to fun trivia (with prizes!) every moment with our Humphries family was special. ✨#BlackHistory
An real time example of critical thinking and problem-solving. If something doesn't work the first time, you can always try again! #STEM#Coding#Beebots
Math + Coding = Fun😃! Students created a path using 6in. squares for the Beebot to travel through. Students worked collaboratively and had to problem solve as they encountered errors. I think they did pretty well on this task 👍. #STEM#Coding#Beebots
Thanks @ScienceATL for allowing our students the opportunity to see how math is used to solve real-world problems. Guest speakers are helpful by giving us a glimpse of where education can take us. #STEM#MathHero
Successful PD days! Thankful to the folks from #Handsonatlanta who delivered #STEM kits for ALL of our students. We also engaged in learning around academic monitoring and meaningful mentorship practices.
