🚨 Big respect to Nick Knight.
He’s right back in Lahore, calling the action for #PSL2026 and choosing Pakistan’s league over the IPL.
In a world where money and hype often win, Knight picked passion, quality cricket, and commitment. True professional.
Minister of Foreign Affairs @HakanFidan met with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia and Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in Islamabad.
#Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed that indirect talks between the U.S. and #Iran are ongoing, with Islamabad relaying messages between the two sides. The initiative, supported by #Türkiye, #Egypt, and others, aims to promote dialogue and stability amid the ongoing conflict. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed Pakistan’s readiness to host negotiations.

There has been unnecessary speculation in the media regarding peace talks to end ongoing conflict in the Middle East. In reality, US-Iran indirect talks are taking place through messages being relayed by Pakistan. In this context, the United States has shared 15 points, being deliberated upon by Iran.
Brotherly countries of Turkiye and Egypt, among others, are also extending their support to this initiative.
Pakistan remains fully committed to promoting peace and continues to make every effort to ensure stability in the region and beyond.
Dialogue and Diplomacy is the only way forward!

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Pakistanis in Pakistan and around the world on the occasion of Pakistan Day (23 March) 🇵🇰✨
On this important occasion, Romania has the honor of presenting to Pakistan, for the first time, a choral arrangement of the National Anthem along with its official score 🎼. This unique cultural initiative has been prepared by the Romanian National Chamber Choir “Madrigal – Marin Constantin,” with the support of the Embassy of Romania in Islamabad, as a tribute to Pakistan and its people 🇷🇴🤝🇵🇰
We take pride in bringing this historic cultural project to fruition, which will further strengthen the ties between our two nations 🌍. This initiative stands as a clear example of how culture and music can build strong bridges of friendship between nations, promoting shared values such as mutual respect, friendship, and artistic excellence 🎶✨
Long live the friendship between Pakistan and Romania! 🇵🇰🤝🇷🇴 @MIshaqDar50@oana_toiu@PresOfPakistan@amnabaloch4@MariusLazurca@ForeignOfficePk@DiscoverpakTv@DiscoverpakTv@geonews_urdu@geonews_english@PakistanTVcom@ARYNEWSOFFICIAL@arynewsud@SAMAATV@ExpressNewsPK@Dawn_News@City42tv@AikNewsPK@ROinPakistan@EUPakistan@KaroblisR
Players leaving PSL for IPL should remember one thing. PSL gave them a chance when IPL didn’t. Next year IPL might not pick them again, and PSL will not pick them either. They would be without a Job. PSL was a brand before them and will remain a brand. Pakistan Zindabad. #PINDIZ
BREAKING: Pakistan just sent warships into the Gulf to escort its own oil tankers home. The operation is called Muhafiz-ul-Bahr. Guardian of the Sea. Launched 9th March. Two naval vessels currently shepherding merchant ships through waters where 138 daily transits have collapsed to 2.
The lead escort is a Tughril-class guided-missile frigate. Type 054A/P. Chinese-built. Pakistan’s most advanced surface combatant. Stealth hull design. Vertical launch system. HQ-16 medium-range air defence missiles. Anti-ship cruise missiles. Anti-submarine torpedo tubes. Helicopter deck. The platform was designed for exactly this scenario: multi-threat escort through contested waters. ISPR has not released hull names for operational security. OSINT imagery from 10th March confirms the silhouette. The second vessel is believed to be a Yarmook-class offshore patrol vessel for layered endurance.
Two ships. One Chinese-built stealth frigate and one patrol vessel. Escorting oil tankers through a corridor where seven P&I clubs have cancelled all war-risk cover, 31 autonomous IRGC commands hold independent firing authority, and the most powerful navy in history has not restored commercial transit.
This is not alliance solidarity. This is national survival arithmetic.
Pakistan imports 99% of its liquefied natural gas from Qatar. Its crude arrives from Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Every molecule transits Hormuz. On 7 March, petrol prices surged 20%, approximately PKR 55 per litre to PKR 321. Diesel hit PKR 336. Panic buying emptied stations across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Pakistan, already on IMF life support, absorbed a 20% fuel shock in a single day because an insurance mechanism in London made its energy supply chain commercially unviable.
The Saudi SMDA signed 17th September 2025 states that aggression against one signatory is aggression against both. Saudi Arabia has been struck repeatedly. The pact is invoked but not activated for combat. Pakistan threads a needle with three points: self-defence (escorts), Saudi alignment (pact compliance), and Iranian border survival (900 kilometres of shared frontier through Balochistan).
That border is the dimension nobody is watching. The BLA launched Operation Herof 2.0 on 31st January across 15 districts. Jaish al-Adl operates on the Iranian side. The UN warned on 5th March of large-scale refugee movements into Pakistani Balochistan. If the IRGC’s Sistan-Balochistan provincial command prioritises the Gulf war over local Baloch suppression, ungoverned space opens on Pakistan’s western frontier at the exact moment it diverts naval assets eastward. Gwadar and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor face elevated threat. Forty million Pakistani Shia live under sectarian pressure already ignited by 24 deaths in pro-Iran rallies on 2nd March.
Pakistan is not entering the war. It is being consumed by its second-order effects: fuel inflation, sovereign debt stress, border instability, sectarian fractures, alliance obligations, and the impossibility of neutrality when your entire energy supply transits a strait that seven insurance desks declared commercially dead.
A Chinese-built stealth frigate escorting tankers through a corridor governed by 31 autonomous IRGC commands that no living authority can override, for a country that cannot afford the fuel inside the tankers it is protecting.
That is not a naval operation. That is a prayer with a vertical launch system.
