Steven Dick, DhoM of the British Embassy in Budapest was the 10th victim of the COVID-19 in Hungary. I extend my sympathy and heartfelt condolences to his loved ones and colleagues. I mourn a fellow diplomat, who passed away in a foreign land. R.I.P.

The EU must be honest and face reality. Despite all the achievements and victories, etc. something went terribly wrong to loose a member. Nobody has taken so far the responsibility for BREXIT on the EU's side. What is happening is tragic from my point of view being a Hungarian.

The siege of Budapest started 75 years ago and ended on 13 February 1945. During the fighting more than 38 k civilians died, among them 17 k of Jewish descent. 3/4 of the buildings were destroyed. Lest we forget when we are blessed to have a peaceful Xmas!
