@LeenaKumari3012 When it comes to safety, the U.S. really can’t compete with most of Asia.
Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan — I can walk around at 2–3 AM, even in red-light districts, and still feel completely safe.
@Aborig24 Asian fans are already spending a fortune every year to fly to the U.S. West Coast, so sure, why not send everyone to Australia instead? Might as well give the entire world a reason to bitch about how insanely far away it is.
@kingdrec1out Just host Worlds in Australia next year. At least then the whole world gets to complain about the distance equally.
Calling it “Worlds” just to keep hosting it in the US is crazy 💀
Or is the real issue having to survive one week without weed?
May I ask about the budget for staying in Chinatown during next year’s World Championship? If I plan to stay there for 6 days, would a budget of ¥100,000 yen be enough?
@kirakissaten I understand it may cost more for people in the U.S. to travel to Asia, but Pokémon is for the whole world, not just the U.S. After all, it’s called “Worlds,” so it shouldn’t always be held in America.
