President of #HungrySocial {social media for restaurants, chefs, bars, etc}. Foodist. Drinker. Restaurant Crawler. Oddly large appetite, little bit of spunk.
Me: I’m still interesting and cool.
Also me: gives a 5 minute description of how my kid transitioned from a sleep sack to a blanket when asked “how are you.” #nobodycares
@nickkokonas@CrainsChicago@smithwollensky Also, the first line of mine is not in quotes... That is not verbatim. We were just speaking positively about restaurants trying new things.
She said they were pivoting and focusing on that option. I said that’s great, whatever ways they want to get creative — safely — I’m all for.
We also spoke about farmer’s markets out of restaurants, pantries, etc. Which I am all for.
@HungryInChicago@CrainsChicago@smithwollensky Restaurants are in the business of selling food. That's what they should do, creatively. Tons of restaurants that typically haven't done carryout now do... steakhouses included.
I applaud any innovation, but who wants to co-work with strangers in a steakhouse?
#iHeartConcertonFOX is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time. @billieeilish, best performance ever. @samsmith, no words. Thanks for making my week — much needed uplift.
Love me some dino toes 🦖🤗 #Frenchette lived up to every single thing... Those escargot eggs have forever left a mark on my brain. And a perfect steak frites albeit simple is so oddly hard to come by. An unforgettable time and I can’t wait to return. #nyc
Went walking on the beach at my hotel in #Positano. These were the “rocks” I found. I wonder the stories they’d tell... What wall, in what house, in what city did they live? What did they see? Who looked at them every day? They live in my living room now.
Had a lot of fun answering these questions... Learn more about how I started #HungrySocial, what I think about social media nowadays {here’s lookin’ at you, bot-users}, & my advice to young entrepreneurs. Thank you @VoyageChicago. https://t.co/48hNgKwKVH
