Takeaway meals from local restaurants to local families. Feeding the local economy and fighting food insecurity #foodinsecurity#localbusiness All thanks to funding from @devoncf
A #Devon food bank is trialling giving out vouchers for takeaways and restaurants.
The tokens - part of regular food packs by @HitsFoodbank - offer a free meal in #NewtonAbbot which is funded by @HungryMnds@CllrDavidCox says it'll boost local business

We're excited to have @HungryMnds Founder Olivia Palmer writing us a guest post on the blog. Hungry Minds is looking for food businesses to work with in working towards providing paid-for meals to those who need them, whilst also de-stigmatising food aid. https://t.co/bkc1RBQrPT
@mollyjforbes The suspense!! Honestly been checking social regularly to see what amazing projects next for you! Home schooling has taken a back seat ๐คฃ Hoping the cough is just that and that alone ๐ค
@DrCPettingerRD Absolutely brilliant - particularly when a swearword is issued and you look around to check the kids aren't listening! Fantastique Madame! And yes, this lockdown IS a b*stard!
@BarryNL@BootstrapCook@BBCNews This is true, why aren't they? Is there a journalistic rule that says being impartial means not stating the truth in case it's a truth only 'in your opinion'?
Children ARE going hungry, I don't think you lost your rag @BootstrapCook you simply told the truth. And, Boris Johnson is lying, that's a fact. Sad times, keep going, thank you!
Corporates taking advantage of food aid, making a profit makes my blood boil. The very fact that the same goods that make up a ยฃ30 food parcel have been bought for ยฃ5.11 in @asda shows that corporates with #FSM contracts are making a huge profit 7 taking advantage. It's criminal!
๐ฃ Calling all incredible local businesses...
Out of curiosity, how many complimentary Childrens meals have each of you supplied today? Day 1 of Half Term.
Can you let me know number and where you are located.
Thank you x
