Trong lịch sử Funding rate âm quá mức tức là Short đang trả phí rất cao cho Long để duy trì vị thế, đám đông đang cực kì bearish.

Việc này dẫn đến sự mất cân bằng trong các vị thế, khi giá đảo chiều tăng nhẹ cũng khiến các vị thế short đóng lệnh.

Dẫn đến short phải mua lại vị thế của mình khi đóng lệnh dẫn đến giá tăng mạnh.

Lịch sử chỉ có khoảng 5 lần Funding âm duy trì liên tục trên 20 ngày sau đó giá đảo chiều tăng mạnh.

Nếu Funding âm tiếp tục duy trì thêm khả năng cao sắp có short squeeze diễn ra.
