[Hoontie890 @Hunter89031]

@Cambria_Light Ooh tru, that should prolly give enough context on why and how ukraine is relevant for us here
(plus the ongoing thing here where the previous china/russia friendly president is currently at the hague)

[Hoontie890 @Hunter89031]

@Cambria_Light Ukraine is mentioned here, especially around military circles, cuz its kinda seen as an equivalent, if a war was to happen with china, oh and our workers there, when the war broke out, the first concern of the government was our health care workers there

[Hoontie890 @Hunter89031]

@Cambria_Light Ooooh that's interesting

I'll prolly look for abs cbn and rappler for stuff about ukraine, news during the cold war here would just be filled about stuff about the martial law.

the manila times maybe for older news i think they're okay as long as its not about local politics

[Hoontie890 @Hunter89031]

@Cambria_Light If they're in filipino i could prolly translate a bit if google translate is being a stoopih

[Hoontie890 @Hunter89031]

@Cambria_Light Oooh jose rizal stuff

i think his letters would be helpful too if you need to know more about why he was so important

[Hoontie890 @Hunter89031]

@Cambria_Light @~@ weird, im guessing your sources are news stuff? Cuz in academic papers we don't rlly use filipino
