@casualnflmlbfan@MLBONFOX@TheAthletic if you think this is 'taking a stroll' and that he took too long.... baseball is quite simply not for you my friend
@casualnflmlbfan@MLBONFOX@TheAthletic Fouls ball off, steps out, quick adjustment of sleeve, step in box, breath to refocus, strike 3 for time violation.
I’m not against speeding up the game at all. It helps viewership but how they are currently doing it is NOT good for baseball.
Watch as Rafael Devers becomes the first player in MLB history to be called out because of a pitch clock violation. 😐
There's just not enough time to safely step out between pitches (even foul balls).
@MLBONFOX@TheAthletic Quit ruining the beautiful game of baseball just to try and get non baseball fans to watch. They might watch a game or two and then they will be gone again. REAL baseball fans are the ones suffering here
@MLBONFOX@TheAthletic “You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the damn plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all”
Pitch clock in its current state = bad awful terrible
Speeding up the game = great for the viewer's experience. Nobody is denying that!
BUT you can not convince me or any REAL baseball fan that these pitch clock rule violations are a good thing for the game of baseball.
@MLB@MLBPA@MLBUA make it make sense!!!
@RedSox my wife and I have never been to Fenway but we try to watch 162 every year from here in Utah. We are hoping to make our first trip to Fenway this year to see the Sox in person for the first time! Any #GiftOfSox ideas?
@MLB runner on 2nd rule is terrible. Nothing is better than games going extra innings and the REAL fans and people who actually watch baseball want to see the game played the right way. Get the little league crap out of the big leagues!!!!!!!!
