I was in county jail for 4 yrs where I paid $0.92 for a top ramen soup that costs $0.10 out here. For the following 12 yrs in state prison, I paid $0.25 per soup, a 150% increase from what it costs out here. Please do not argue w/ me about how “public prisons” are not for profit.

@R_Thewitch I always find it the hardest to ask for help when I need it, because being let down hurts so much more. I was reminded recently that I feel better when I help others, I am allowing others to feel better by helping me. I’m still learning to heed said reminder ❤️
