Today in Muhoroni, I called out former Deputy President Gachagua for telling Kenyans abroad to stop sending money home, remarks that are clueless and reckless.

Kenyans send money to families, not the government. Gachagua should return home and stick to his usual politics.

I also noted that while some regions have long seen development, Kisumu and Western Kenya are now benefiting under a more inclusive government. Every Kenyan deserves progress.

Lastly, I praised Kisumu residents for protesting peacefully without resorting to violence proving it’s possible to dissent responsibly.
