I’m honored by the confidence Republican voters placed in me and grateful to everyone who supported our campaign, including President Trump.
I’ll keep fighting for the issues that matter most to New Jersey families and working every day to deliver results for our district. 🇺🇸
Too many of our fellow neighbors are living in fear of Trump's cruel immigration enforcement. Glad to see Governor Sherrill stand up for so many of our fellow New Jerseyans.
I just proposed an amendment on the Senate floor that would create an investigation into the unsafe conditions at Delaney Hall and require ICE and Geo Group to fix the problems. The Republicans voted against this critical need.
I’m leaving the Capitol now at 530am after 19 hrs of votes where Senate Republicans passed $70B for ICE/CBP with no accountability after killings of Alex Pretti/Renee Good and no reforms after chaos at Delaney Hall. Zero dollars to help your family pay bills and high gas prices.
High pressure remains in control today. Sunny skies with warm temps and low humidity. Temps will be cooler at the Jersey Shore and Delaware Beaches due to the colder ocean temps.

This week’s Hometown Hero is Chief Kevin Saharic. Chief Saharic tragically lost his life on May 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by courage, leadership, and steadfast service. He dedicated more than four decades to the Lebanon Borough Fire Company, including 23 years as Chief, and was serving as Captain at the time of his passing.
Chief Saharic was known as the person everyone could rely on. He received numerous honors, including the Medal of Valor for rescuing a downed firefighter and a civilian during a fire, reflecting the bravery that defined his career and character. This week, we honor Chief Saharic’s service to the Lebanon community, his sacrifice, and the legacy he leaves behind. Our thoughts remain with his family, friends, and the entire fire service community.

Secretary Rubio refused to acknowledge the truth: Trump’s reckless cuts to global health programs, including infectious disease early detection systems, outbreak prevention, and emergency response, is making it harder to respond to this Ebola outbreak—factually, not hypothetically. These programs existed to stop outbreaks before they occur and ensure rapid response when needed.
We are now less prepared than we were before, and this Administration cannot keep denying reality when lives are at stake. We need to restore American global health leadership now.
