The 3rd annual Hunterdon County Student Media Convention was a huge success, and it has outgrown the borders of Hunterdon (and our backdrop). Thank you to Hunterdon Central, Bernards, and Piscataway high schools for attending the event and for making it such a great day!

Congratulations to The Delphi staff for being named @schoolnewspaper 11th Distinguished Site of this school year, and thank you to our readership for continuing to support local, student journalism.

I had an amazing time speaking at the @nhsjc national scholastic journalism convention this weekend! I shared my story with new advisors and taught a packed room of students how to build a podcast. Getting to present at an event with so many top educators was truly a blessing.

Editor-in-chief Gianna Roberts and managing editor Ella Genovese had the honor of celebrating the staff’s @schoolnewspaper Story Page Excellence badge. The students learned about digital layout and visual appeal of online publishing.

Just submitted Del Val’s round 2 application for @nationalJEA First Amendment Press Freedom Award. I’m so proud of my school, from the students, to the staff, to the admins for supporting students’ First Amendment rights. Results are revealed on the 22nd.
