@TommyGunnNBA As a long time Orlando, Dubs, and Michigan fan (it’s a weird combo, I know) Yaxel has serious Turkoglu vibes 2008-2009. People forget how good he was on a finals team. https://t.co/6qHjiEDkjX
@rohindhar FWIW deeper pockets of the East Bay aren’t as popular compared to a couple years ago. Commute time has definitely climbed back toward the top of the priority list for Lamorinda/Walnut Creek buyers
@BQRMagic They lack attention to detail and effort. Which are things that really shouldn’t be issues for a serious team. Yeah they could shoot better, but if they take care of the first two things they’re probably 6-3 not 4-5
@hornsby_realtor Terrible for the consumer. Takes that much longer to build real equity. Better to rent and invest the money you would’ve used towards a down payment. Great for banks, bad for the individual
@mikesimonsen Just 25 miles east in Walnut Creek and I can’t keep up with the amount of shishito peppers our garden produces. That summer heat is what does it.
@shawngorham Cooling off in the East Bay, up north. Only the perfectly “done” homes are selling quickly with multiple offers.
A lot of buyers able to negotiate price, contingencies, etc.
Inventory slowly building.
If you’re ever doing an a major home renovation
It’s a decent idea to chat about it with your real estate agent for 30 seconds
Just to sanity check you’re not inadvertently doing something that makes it hard to sell one day
Trying to time the housing market is wildly irrational.
If you love the house, you can afford it, and you don't think you'll need to move again for a while, buy it.
@NewsLambert San Jose - 3 bed / 2 bath listed at $2m nicely done
First weekend of open houses - 200+ groups through, 6 preemptive offers, pending after 4 days.
Anecdotal market temperature tweet…
- San Jose single family home completely remodeled with very nice finishes
- Listed at $2m / 3 beds / 2 baths / 1,213sqft
- 100 groups at today’s open, couldn’t finish until 45 min after the end time because people kept arriving
