Strikes me that this is purely a lie, and an attempt to alleviate themselves from liability for not delivering a next day parcel on the next day. I am assuming, @UPS, that you do compensate losses to small businesses do to your own failings...?

Does anyone know how to get any details out of @UPS? I've been told that my parcel was not delivered on time due to 'an emergency delay beyond ups control' on 13 Dec (that's a direct quote), but no-one there can provide me any details now.
