We are getting exhausted hearing so much from this out of towner mod that has a Huntley page for some reason. He must be running out of breath letting everyone know how charitable he is. We are just busier than he is, with you know, jobs. He came just shy of saying MAGA today

We almost got out of the D158 SB meeting without having to call anyone out. We even left alone the Title 9 talk since it was tabled but we already know what lil Bittman wants to do with our Title 9 policy. He's rooting for the new Federal criminal administration to fix everything
Hey New Gina! Feel free to leave the sticks sometime and visit the great city of Chicago. Did you just call the city a mess? You are afraid that our school funding will be taken away and funneled to Chicago? You went to your meeting and are more confused about how schools work?

We are still not sure why Murray's mumbling needed to be congratulated by a member of the Kiss Coupon Army at the end of the meeting. Murray's opinions are as relevant as that band is today

Wait a damn minute! Every member voted to approve the electric buses?! Two years ago we could not get some of these people to quit whining about terrible electric busses. The group of 4 has sold out on everything they ran on. I'll bet that Bittman even has an Orange Frog now
It was nice to see Troy also trying to explain school finances to New Gina. Unfortunately he may as well be talking to a wall. She doesn't want to listen to a level head. She has to start her campaigning now and pretend that she is going to lower taxes.
New Gina is lecturing everyone about how expensive it is to live here. Here's a tip - if you think it is so expensive to live here, you are welcome to move. It is exhausting to listen to people who hate this state so much but never seem to leave.
We are enjoying Quagliano explaining how Bittman can't seem to grasp how the levies should work. It's nice for him to have a little open space to say that while mumbles is running rhe meeting tonight
New Gina tries to go on record as trying to cut even more from the levy. That won't happen, but she wants to put it out there that she thought we should....but they most definitely won't.
Levy talk has started tonight. Get ready for lots of posturing from some members of the board about how we can't raise taxes. Get ready for new people running for rhe board also saying we can't raise taxes. And then, after the election, they will definitely raise taxes yet again
Why is My Huntley News coming up in this meeting? It's in no way an actual news source. What kind of podunk town is this? We send out our un-biased on-point reporting on a semi-regular (whenever we feel like it) basis. And as always, we are the free press

While we don't really enjoy Bittman's attempts to lead this board, on a night like this when he isn't there, and Murray is kind of mumbling out her words, we actually kind of miss seeing him up there in his pledge jacket
There was another great request from New Gina asking someone to look up some stats for her instead of just googling them herself. And then she mentioned how she respects teachers. Someone should ask the teachers about how much New Gina's little Facebook group respected teachers
