Another beautiful morning at Coneygear Park saw HGFC run out comfortable winners of the quarter-final with some fantastic teamwork and pinpoint shooting. Fair play to the opponents they never gave up and kept going to the final whistle.

On to the semi-finals next weekend.

Due to heavy rain fall 🌧 and half term holiday our football development sessions ⚽will be
having a 2 weeks break.

Worry not, as we'll be ready to kick-start the fun 🤩 on Saturday 4th November 09:30-10:30am Coneygear Park.

On a sweltering Saturday the U12's kicked off the new season in a fantastic game v's Royston playing some awesome football. ⚽

Lots of water was taken onboard but despite the heat, the girls shone over the 60 minutes.👏 🤩

Our development sessions had a great start back this morning, and it was lovely to see new players attending.

It was a tough first match of the season against Chatteris today but the girls played really well, despite the heat, to get our 2024 season off to a great start.

An amazing performance from the team today at the Girls in Football Tournament hosted by @TrumpingtonFC. They came away as winners after playing 5 matches in the searing heat & every girl put in 100% effort with some brilliant passing, defending & attacking. Well done!!! 🏆

To mark 5 years since the club was established, our active club founders, Lisa and Paul, presented a founding members award. This aims to recognise one player across the club for their outstanding contribution.

Fantastic to celebrate the progress all our players have made at our end of season presentation yesterday. There were hotdogs/burgers 🌭🍔 and ice creams🍦for all, as well as lots of fun football activities. Well done everyone and have a great summer! 🏆☀️
