We've grown an arable cover crop as a break crop for grass-herbal reseed. With phacelia, fodder radishes, rye, turnips, vetches, kale etc

We have been trialling some different seed mixes and establishment methods on the farm this year. The plan is to increase sward variety with low chem or soil disturbance. A few species coming up which we didn't expect would grow, like this sainfoin

@farmerdanb Had our feedback recently and were told to buffer feed throughout the year as the algorithm for grass fed cows has high enteric output. So make more silage, spread more slurry, surely higher mechanical co2? Plus we only grow grass so presumably growing cereals/maize aswell?
