Our program offers a unique balance between the diverse clinical resources of a community-based hospital and the rigorous academic atmosphere of MSU-CHM.
PAS 2026…
So proud of our current residents -Raima, Mawada and Nnamdi and Hurley alumni- Nike and Nahar both current NICU fellows who presented posters at the 2026 Pediatric Academic Society (PAS) Meeting in Boston this year!
APPD Spring Meeting 2026 in Denver, Colorado was special this year! We had a strong Hurley admin representation for the first time ever- PD, APD and rising chiefs, Amjad and Tariq, in attendance!
A huge THANK YOU to Barb our Hurley RD! She not only shares her nutrition expertise daily during NICU rounds, peds floor/PICU consults and in the clinic. She dedicated multiple hours a year to educating our residents. We appreciate you!
Preparations for the next academic year have started including our master scheduling day!!
We are looking forward to an amazing 2026-2027 academic year and welcoming our amazing Class of 2029, but also brings some tears as this mean we are closer to graduation time.
We celebrated THANK A RESIDENT Day a little late (March 27th instead of Feb 27th) this year due to Ramadan, but we are no less thankful for all of our amazing residents.
As a small token of our huge appreciation gift baskets were delivered to the clinic, peds floor and the PICU.
