Today we remember the friends & families who lost loved ones on September 11th. For those of us who were working in buildings on that day, we will always recall the moment we heard of the tragedy. Supporting our students and families throughout that day united us all.

It's time for a February Staff Spotlight!
Today we are spotlighting Kerri Malik. Kerri is a special education teacher at White Lake Middle School. It is her 23rd year teaching in the Valley.
If Kerri wasn't an educator, she would be a volunteer.
Here are three fun facts about Kerri -
1) All three of her kids attend Huron Valley Schools, and she loves to watch them participate in sports and other extracurricular activities.
2) Kerri and her famly like to visit National Parks and different parts of Michigan.

Another Staff Spotlight is the perfect way to welcome us back to school after break.
Today we are Spotlighting Kristin Ealy! Kristin is a teacher at Spring Mills and has been teaching in Huron Valley for 12 years.
Three fun facts about Kristin -
1. Kristin went to Spring Mills as a kid and now not only does she work there, but her own children attend Spring Mills too.
2. She has been to Russia.
3. Cheese is Kristin's favorite food! She has never tried a cheese she doesn't like.
