Senior 🔦: Payton Carroll says “Ever since I took my first steps onto campus, MU felt like home.” Payton says she wouldn’t be where she’s today w/out those who supported her and capstone explored dystopian literature. She is excited to see what the future holds and wish her luck!
Senior 🔦: Maya Richards will “miss the family gained” through her time at Mercyhurst and has learned a lot, changing as a person. Maya is excited to join Seiche Dance Collective starting this summer and to continue performing and teaching dance, seeing where her future takes her
Senior 🔦: Grace Sinke joining Suttle Dance in Detriot and pursuing more choreographic opportunities, her passion, as Grace had 2 pieces. “Pomp and sunscreen” was about the brain developments, especially around graduation and “Beautiful Life” about living w/ chronic illness.
Senior 🔦: Emma Devore is joining Sceiche Dance Collective starting this summer. While Emma is “sad the leave the Mercyhurst family” she is excited for the next chapter. Emma’s capstone, “(ANTI)social,” explores social anxiety.
Senior 🔦: Elizabeth Meade is a double major in Marketing and Dance and will be an events coordinator for Colonial Williamsburg while pursuing dance. She is grateful for all the opportunities of the past 4 years and will “miss the camaraderie of the DD and the faculty so much.”
Senior 🔦 Pt 2: Libby’s capstone, “Healing Bones, Fractured Minds,” researched the emotional impact and long-term effects of dance injury. The collaborative choreographic process displayed the multiple facets of injury and individual processes through trauma as an artist.
Senior 🔦 Pt 1: Libby Bullinger has had “the best four years” of my life. After graduation, Libby will take a gap year before getting her master’s degree in dance to further her passion for teaching, choreographing, and using dance as a means of connecting.
Senior 🔦: McKenna Hoek is joining Louisville Ballet’s Studio company and is thankful to the MU Dance Dept. for the wonderful experiences had and amazing people she’s been able to work with over the past 4 years. “These experiences have prepared me for the opportunities to come.”
Senior 🔦: Sydney Gondringer will be dancing w/ Sceiche Dance Collective this summer and Virginia National Ballet next year. Sydney has enjoyed taking in every moment of senior year and will miss all her friends. Her Raw Edges explores how colors influence emotions and our brains

Senior 🔦: Jenna Fritts is “going to miss incorporating learning from academic courses with dance and thankful for all my experiences.” Fritts is excited to be joining the Ballet Theatre of Maryland as an apprentice and her Raw Edges shines a light (literally) on females spies.
