In 2003, the late David Shepherd OBE came to Hurst to open the Art School. Here we can see him with Stephen Meek (Headmaster) and Marytn Grubb (Head of Art). David was a British artist and one of the world's most vocal conservationists of his time.

On Sunday (21st April 2024), Hurst
Foundation hosted 'Vivaldi’s Gloria – Rehearsed and
Performed in a Day'. It was wonderful to see so many
members of the Foundation coming together, producing
a wonderful performance in the evening.
