The @Ligonier State of Theology survey results are in for 2025. This survey is done every 2 years and surveys Christians on basic Theology and Doctrine. The results are (as usually for the last few years) disturbing. It shows we have a shrinking generation of Christians who are getting less and less equipped to train the next generation of Christians (or their Children) in the Word.
I highly recommend reviewing this, give it to your small groups, have discussions and be able to defend the hope we have in our Savior Jesus Christ.
Next Monday on the @FiveTwenty_Co channel we will be going through and discussing some of these answers. See you Monday at 8:30 EST

Calling all CHH fans who are Genius annotators!!!!!
I got a new tool. Its called Hip Hop Hermenutics, (named after myth new series Im producing on my channel)
It works just like Genius, but when you highlight the lyrics, it gives you a prompt to link scripture to the lyric as well as let you annotate.
Im going to make my first episode this week using it so y'all can see it and give feedback before I release it to you all for free.
CHH is a ministry tool, let's use it to edify each other!

Why the church gotta catch a stray. This the best place for gangsters, squares, rats, dogs and all! Tap in, living for God is the most gangsta thing you can do
@SoundbiteKing We know what he did! I watched it in real time for 20 years! He showed them that thereโs level to this thing! Lifeโs a little different when youโre up on game!
Using the n-word in CHH is wild. It's the most explicit word you can use, evidenced by the fact specific people are not allowed to say it with the same context as its used in the song. The argument boils down to "I subjectively use the term in a brotherly way, but objectively you cannot use it that way" ; that is a logical fallacy and points out that it is, in-fact, objectively bad.
I might get reprimanded or called out if I drop an F-Bomb in a podcast, but its a career ending mistake If i use the other. And Im not saying I even want to use the word, I don't, my point is the culture has watered down how to disguise evil as "good", because it's "culture".
I've only seen it used once well (with Bizzle in his last album) to drive home a point on the use of the word. Many of us don't want it in the music we listen to, thats why we come to CHH...the same goes for diss tracks.
I said what I said.
